Hi! :) I received your link from a friend of mine, Joy Mistur. Thought I'd write something here since, at least on this post, someone sounded "lonely"....which I'm sure you are not being as you are very busy! How do you keep up?? I read your post "Shall We Dance?" Totally can relate to that. Love the picture of Jesus waiting till all the other dancers "clear the floor" so to speak, so He can take our hand, Bridegroom and bride, and dance with us. I love that analogy! Mostly because it is so true. Keep writing. You're good at it, and your thoughts hit home. God bless you and yours.

It reminds me of the blinders that horses have on when they are running races. It keeps their vision focused on the task at hand without allowing distractions to enter their field of vision. But do we have control of what enters our minds? No. But we do have control of what we do with those thoughts and images. Ask God to give us blinders for our minds. Keep the gaze on the important things in life.

Developing A Better Life through balance…
Stress, frustration, exhaustion, and guilt are the symptoms of a life out of balance. You’ll feel them if your work eclipses your relationships. You want to be successful at everything in your life, but too often, you run out of time and energy trying to do it all.
The key is realizing that life isn’t a sprint – it’s a marathon. If you balance your life by including an active relationship with Christ – you can do anything through Christ who strengthens you. (Phil 4:13)
How can you balance your life well?
Pursue endurance. Stop rushing through life as if it were a sprint
Don’t burn yourself out. Pray for the patience you need to approach situations with endurance. Ask God to give you His eternal perspective on things in your life.
We Gotta Get rid of the “hazies.” Don’t let hazy thinking cause you to lose sight of God’s plan for your life.
Think and pray about who’s most important.
You only have so much time and energy; use it well.
Focus on God and what He wants for your life.
